Mark your calendars, canned laughter at the ready: the inaugural Christchurch Comedy Festival, celebrating the ever-growing Christchurch comedy scene, is planned for January 2027.

Christchurch will host everything from intimate emerging talent and bar gigs to open mic nights, family comedy lunches, and household names you may well know in iconic, traditional, or unusual venues.
