Food Fest Local 2027

Food Fest Local on Christchurch High Street complements Christchurch Food Festival which is held on Christchurch Quay each Spring. The event takes place annually on the last May Bank Holiday weekend. Food Fest local is organised and managed by Christchurch BID who took over the running of the much loved event in 2023.
Based in the heart of Christchurch town centre, Food Fest Local gives you the opportunity to enjoy a taste of Christchurch from our fantastic local hospitality businesses on the High Street, alongside a wonderful selection of food traders, local makers and entertainment. The High Street will come alive with food traders offering artisan foods and traditional fayre, alongside specialist makers and local entertainers who are looking forward to sharing their talents with you throughout the event.

WHAT’S ON
Food Fest Local will feature a fantastic programme of food, drink, live music, family entertainment and more throughout the event.
FOOD & DRINK
A wonderful selection of food and drink from a wide variety of traders from Christchurch, Dorset and across the South West.
Food Fest Local will bring you a taste of the amazing local culinary offerings, with plenty of delicious options to enjoy and a selection of breweries and distilleries providing refreshments to quench your thirst.
LIVE MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT
The High Street will come alive with music and entertainment, featuring local live performances and a fantastic programme of entertainment throughout the event.
There will be plenty of seating areas where you can relax, enjoy some great food and drink, and while away the time soaking up the Food Fest Local atmosphere.
FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT
Our family entertainment will provide plenty of fun for younger visitors, with activities and entertainment designed to keep the whole family entertained.

REDUCING WASTE
Please bring your own reusable cup or you can pick up a souvenir reusable cup from the Thomas Tripp Bar for just £1 (this is on a first come first served basis). Reusable cups are valid at both events.
Please respect this historic town and rivers, Christchurch BID supplies additional bins along the High Street. If you have litter please use the plentiful bins.

BID levy businesses have privileged access to the application process, with applications subsequently opened up to businesses outside the BID area to help us create a fantastic and varied selection of traders. Spaces are limited, so we recommend getting in touch as early as possible if you are interested in taking part.

Trading applications: 1st September – 31st October – Christchurch BID levy businesses applications open.
1st November onwards the application process will be opened up to traders outside the BID area.
